Run for the Apples 2026

The race.

Run for the Apples is a virtual running and walking challenge held from August 27 through September 24, 2026, benefiting the non-profit Greene Applefest. Participants log miles on the honor system during the challenge window and can run or walk anywhere. Top male and female finishers by total miles earn awards and an apple pie, announced at Greene Applefest on September 26. Registration costs $20 for early bird (deadline July 31), $25 for regular (deadline August 26), or $15 for youth ages 17 and under (deadline August 26), with a $2 per-person discount for group registrations. All entries include a moisture-wicking race t-shirt available for pickup at Greene Applefest.
