Run for the House - Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston 5K and Kids 1 Miler 2026

The race.

Run for the House is a USATF-certified 5K and 1-mile event held December 5, 2026, at Sam Houston Park in Houston, Texas. All registered participants receive a finisher medal, race shirt, and swag bag. On-site registration begins at 7 a.m., with races starting at 8 a.m. and the after-party running from 8:45 to 10 a.m., featuring food, drinks, games, crafts, and a photo opportunity with Santa. All proceeds support Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston, which provides housing and support services for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at Texas Medical Center hospitals.
