Hi, my name is Nathan Chamot, I’m 18 years old, and I’m the organizer of the second annual Run for Tourette 5K, a charity run and walk that raises money for the Tourette Association of America! I founded the Run for Tourette 5K because I have Tourette Syndrome, and I don’t want others to face the same barriers I did growing up with the disorder. In 2025, the 5K set a new national fundraising record for events raising money for Tourette Syndrome—the event raised over $33,000, and I hope to surpass that this year! With your help, we can fund the Tourette Association of America’s critical efforts to support the Tourette community through research, spreading awareness, and educating professionals about Tourette’s. Course:

Our 3.1-mile course will be at the beautiful Winton Woods Park, where you will be immersed in an autumn scene featuring a scenic lake, trails, and the surrounding forest!

Awards:

The top 25 finishers for each gender will receive a medal for their achievement! There will be no age category awards for this race.

Schedule of Events:

The 5K race starts at 10:00 am, and the afterparty starts at 10:30 am. The afterparty goes until noon and will be held at Kestrel Point Shelter. Our race will be timed, and you can see your results broken down on our race website.

After the Race:

Starting at 10:30, we will have a post-race party for you to enjoy! There will be healthy post-race food, Tom’s Coffee Truck, raffle prizes, music, and more! We will have some free food items and water for participants at the finish line.

Registration:

Early Bird Pricing: (Registration purchased before September 1st): $25

Regular Pricing: (Registration purchased between September 1st to October 23rd): $30 Day-of-Race Pricing: $35

STUDENTS: You can receive a $10 discount off the current registration price. If you are a student of any kind, including college, you can select that option when you sign up.

Registration is 100% online only from your phone, tablet or computer including race day.

Referral Rewards and Referral Challenge:

Once you sign up, you will receive a referral code that you can send out to your friends! Refer 3 friends and get them to sign up, and you get a $10 discount! Not only that, but we will also be hosting a referral challenge! Whoever refers the most people and gets them to sign up by the day of the race will win a $150 Amazon gift card!

Race Day Check-in:

Check-in is from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at the Kestrel Point Shelter. Please come early to avoid a last-minute rush. We intend to start the race at 10:00 sharp!

Parking:

Parking is FREE for all participants. Please note that you should park at Kestrel Point, as this will be most convenient. Please refer to the document below for more parking information.

Raffles:

Entries to try and win a raffle basket donated by generous donors can be purchased online after you register or on race day. Bundles include $5 for 2 tickets, or $10 for 5 tickets, or $20 for 15 tickets. We will accept credit cards or cash on race day.

T-Shirts:

T-shirts are provided for free to all race participants and volunteers! We will have sizes ranging from small to XL, but we cannot guarantee your size. Thank you to
