Run For Valentin 5k 2026

The race.

Run For Valentin is a 5K and 1-mile community event held October 3, 2026, at Mission Hike & Bike Trails in Mission, TX. The 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run/walk starts at 8:10 a.m.; participants should arrive by 7:30 a.m. Registration costs $35 for the 5K and $20 for the 1-mile event. All finishers receive a medal, official race shirt, and chip timing results; refreshments and hydration stations are available post-race. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 2, from 3:30–7:00 p.m. at Valley Running in McAllen. A September 12 deadline applies for guaranteed t-shirt sizes. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to age group winners (13 and under, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+). Event proceeds benefit Valentin's medical treatments and therapies.
