About the race
The race.
The Rockaway Track Club hosts a half marathon and 5K on October 24, 2026, in Far Rockaway, NY. Both races start at 8:00 a.m. from Beach 94th Street on the Boardwalk, with bib pickup and check-in beginning at 6:00 a.m. The half marathon covers two loops, extending to Beach 124th Street and returning to the finish at Beach 94th Street; the 5K is a single loop between the same start and finish points. Participants receive a t-shirt and medal. Water and Gatorade stations are positioned throughout the course. Public parking is available in a lot on Beach 94th Street.
