About the race
The race.
The Rockaway Track Club organizes a half marathon and 5K on September 26, 2026, in Far Rockaway, NY. Both races start and finish at Beach 94th Street on the boardwalk, with bib pickup and t-shirt distribution beginning at 7:00 am and all races starting at 8:00 am. The half marathon covers two loops along the beach between 94th and 124th Streets. The 5K follows an out-and-back course from 94th Street west to 124th Street and back. Finishers receive a t-shirt and medal, with water and Gatorade available at multiple course locations.
