The race.
Run The Green Wave 5K takes place August 8, 2026, at Easley High School in Easley, SC. The 5K course runs on the school's cross country course, which is primarily grass with some pavement crossings and finishes on the track. A separate Kids Mile for sixth grade and below starts at 7:10 AM, followed by the 5K at 7:30 AM. Registration is $10 for the Kids Mile and $25 for the 5K, with t-shirts guaranteed for all entries received by July 26 at 11:59 PM. Age-group awards are given for the 5K across divisions from 0–14 through 75+, and finishers medals are awarded for the Kids Mile. All proceeds benefit the Easley High School Cross Country and Track program.
