Run the Monon (hosted by Indy Runners and Walkers) 2026

The race.

Run the Monon, hosted by Indy Runners and Walkers on October 24, 2026, offers three distances: 20 miles, 12 miles, and 11 miles in the Indianapolis area. Participants start from either Biddle Memorial Park in Sheridan (20-mile distance) or Lowe's at 146th Street in Carmel (12-mile distance), then run or walk back to Marott Park in Broad Ripple for the finish. This untimed event includes bus transportation from Marott Park to the starting locations, with 20-milers departing at 7:30 a.m. and 12-milers departing around 8:45 a.m. after check-in at Park Tudor School parking lot. A boxed lunch is provided at Marott Park following the event, with eating beginning around 11 a.m. Cost is $20 for Indy Runners and Walkers members or $30 for non-members, both including transportation, run, and lunch; lunch-only option available for $10.
