The race.
Run The Ridge Trail Race takes place October 10, 2026, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, featuring 5K, 10K, and 25K trail distances that start and finish at the Bill Monroe Homeplace. The course follows dirt roads and ridge terrain with elevation changes. All finishers receive a medal, and the top three male and female finishers in each distance earn awards. Register by September 25 to receive a race t-shirt; registration costs $25 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, and $55 for the 25K, with a 4.5-hour cutoff for the 25K. The event coincides with Bill Monroe Foundation activities including live bluegrass music performances on Saturday evening and camping opportunities throughout the weekend.
