Run the Vineyards - Pindar Fall 5K and 8K 2026

The race.

Run the Vineyards offers 5K and 8K courses on October 4, 2026, at Pindar Vineyards in Peconic, NY. Both races start at 9 AM and follow flat terrain on hard-packed dirt trails and grass through the vineyard property. Participants receive a custom tech shirt (with long-sleeve upgrade available), professional chip timing, and finisher medals available for purchase. The 5K has a one-hour time limit and the 8K has a one-hour-40-minute limit. Awards go to top three overall finishers and age-group winners across categories from 14 and under through age groups in 10-year increments. Race-day packet pickup runs from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. The after-party includes a glass of Pindar wine (21+), live music until noon, food trucks, and water and bananas at the finish. Proceeds benefit the NY Cancer Foundation. Registration closes September 20 to guarantee shirt size and style selection. Free on-site parking is available.
