About the race
The race.
RunFitKidz Spring 2026 is a running program for 1st through 6th grade students offered at eight Burke, Virginia elementary schools: Bull Run ES, Canterbury Woods ES, Capital Baptist, Cardinal Forest ES, Hunt Valley ES, Kings Glen ES, Laurel Ridge ES, and Orange Hunt ES. The program runs 7-8 weeks with one session per week, beginning March 4, 2026 or later depending on location, with most starting the week of March 17. Registration opens February 16, 2025 at 8 a.m., and the program cost is $129 per participant. No sessions are held during spring break (March 30–April 30).
