Running of the Turkeys 2026

The race.

Running of the Turkeys takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, in Greensboro, NC. The event offers a timed 5K, a 1.6-mile untimed family walk/run, and a 3.1-mile option. All registered participants receive a turkey-themed item. 5K registrants get a long-sleeve shirt. Registration is required for participants age 7 and up. Teams of four or more members qualify for group discounts, with each member saving $5 off registration and the team receiving an additional $20 refund. The largest team receives a prize. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome.
