About the race
The race.
Running Scared 5K & 13K takes place October 17, 2026, in St. George, UT, organized by Five Star NTP. Two race distances are offered: a 5K and a 13K, both starting and finishing at Crosby Family Confluence Park. Finishers receive a long-sleeve race shirt and custom medal. Awards go to the top three overall finishers by gender in each distance, plus top three finishers in Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters categories, and top three in each traditional five-year age group. A "Deadly Double" option allows runners to compete in both distances, with special awards for top three male and female finishers completing both races.
