About the race
The race.
The SAAF Run/Walk takes place in San Antonio on October 3, 2026, featuring a 5K run and 2-mile walk. Both events start at Martin Luther King Park, with the walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the run at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees are $35 for either distance, with team entries (10 or more) at $30 per person and same-day registration at $40. Packet pickup occurs from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. the morning of the event at the park. Proceeds support the San Antonio AIDS Foundation's services, including HIV/STI testing, medical care, meals, housing, and mental health support. Participants can also purchase commemorative t-shirts for $25.
