About the race
The race.
The Saline County Fair Glow in the Dark 5K takes place on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Saline County Fairgrounds in Harrisburg, Illinois. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. with the race starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Fair Office. All finishers receive a glow stick and t-shirt. Participants ages 16 and older pay $20 if registered before race day or $25 on race day; children ages 6–15 pay $15 before race day or $20 on race day; children under 5 run free but do not receive a t-shirt. The t-shirt deadline is July 10th.
