About the race
The race.
On October 4, 2026, Run Fit hosts the Sandia Mountain Shadows Trail Run at Piedra Lisa Park in Albuquerque, NM. Three distances are available: 15K (8:00 a.m. start), 10K (8:15 a.m. start), and 5K (8:30 a.m. start). All finishers receive medals and event shirts; age-group and overall awards are presented. Packet pickup and late registration occur October 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports North Towne Plaza. Race-day packet pickup for out-of-town participants runs 7:00–7:45 a.m. at the start location. The event benefits RunFit, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting childhood obesity prevention and community building.
