Santa Cruz Trail Run 2026

The race.

The Santa Cruz Trail Run takes place August 22, 2026, at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, CA. Seven distances are offered: 30K, 18.8 miles, 18.2 miles, 13.5 miles, 13.2 miles, 6.2 miles, and 6.1 miles, with start times beginning at 8:30 AM. The course includes single-track trails, open roads, and sand, with aid stations positioned every 5–6 miles. A 6-hour time limit applies, with all runners required to finish by 2:30 PM. Check-in and bib pickup occur race morning from 7:30–9:00 AM. Post-race food includes fresh fruit, sweet and salty snacks, and pre-packaged options. Parking at the state park costs $10. Capacity is 330 runners across all distances.
