About the race
The race.
The Saukville Scare Halloween Themed 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 17, 2026, in Saukville, Wisconsin. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Cash prizes are awarded to overall male and female winners and top finishers in each age division, with an additional costume contest and prizes held after the race. Proceeds benefit Saukville Elementary School's Parent Association to reduce activity fees and support teacher requests for classroom enhancements. A pumpkin pancake breakfast, bounce house, and DJ entertainment follow the race. A separate Kids Trick or Treat Fun Walk for children 12 and under with four trick-or-treat stops along a shortened route is also available, with all proceeds going to the Parent Association.
