About the race
The race.
The Severance Glow 5K is a nighttime 5K run or walk held on September 18, 2026, in Severance, Colorado. The course starts at the west baseball field of Severance Community Park, follows the Great Western Trail, continues down Ponderosa to Rangeview Elementary School, and returns to the Community Park. Course lighting is provided, and glow sticks are available for participants to decorate themselves before the race. A DJ performs at the start/finish line, and an after-party follows with beverages provided by High Country Beverage.
