Shawangunk Runners Summer XC Series 2026

The race.

The Shawangunk Runners Summer XC Series runs four Monday evenings in July and early August 2026 in New Paltz, NY, featuring courses of 3 to 4.7 miles on carriage roads in Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park. Races begin at approximately 7 p.m., preceded by informal children's runs at 6:45 p.m. and bib pickup at 6 p.m. each week. The July 6 Undercliff/Overcliff race (4.7 miles) is sold out; three additional races are available: Patterson's Pellet (3 miles, July 13), Blueberry Run (4 miles, July 20), and Lou's Run (4.3 miles, July 27). An award ceremony and rail trail fun run concludes the series on August 3 at Garvan's Gastropub. Participation requires a 2026 Shawangunk Runners club membership ($25 individual, $40 family, $10 for members age 22 and under). A $10 parking fee applies for Minnewaska State Park events.
