SHE RUNS Grand Rapids 2026

The race.

SHE RUNS Grand Rapids is an all-women's running event held September 27, 2026, in Grand Rapids, MI, starting at John Ball Zoo. The event offers eight distance options: half marathon, 10K, 6.2 miles, 5K, 3.1 miles, and virtual versions of the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. Race day begins with packet pickup at 7:00 a.m., followed by staggered start times between 8:15 a.m. and 8:55 a.m., with the finish line closing at 12:30 p.m. Virtual participants receive a shirt, bib, and medal by mail. The event features pace teams for the 10K and half marathon covering speeds from 7:00 to 14:00 per mile, and participants may form social teams of five or more runners. Registrations may be deferred to the following year, transferred to a different distance, or transferred to another person through September 13th.
