The Sherando Youth Triathlon takes place August 2, 2026, in Stephens City, VA, featuring swim, bike, and run segments for children ages 7–15. Distances vary by age group: 7–8 year-olds complete a 25-meter swim, 1-mile bike ride in Sherando Park, and 0.5-mile run; 9–10 year-olds swim 75 meters, bike 3 miles, and run 1 mile; 11–15 year-olds swim 125 meters, bike 3 miles, and run 1 mile, with the run portion using Sherando High School Track. Top three finishers in each age group and gender receive awards. All participants receive a finisher medal; T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations by July 5, after which they are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
