Snowbowl 15K 2026

The race.

The Snowbowl 15K takes place on August 8, 2026, in Missoula, Montana, at the Montana Snowbowl ski area. The 9.3-mile loop course starts and finishes at the base area and includes 2,150 feet of climbing on dirt and double-track roads for the first 4.65 miles, with a single-track descent of equal distance on Beargrass Highway. An aid station is located at the top of Grizzly Chair. Finishers receive a custom race bib, t-shirt, chip timing, post-race lunch catered by Snowbowl, and Big Sky Brewing beer or sparkling water. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. on race day, with packet pickup available Friday 2–6 p.m. or Saturday 7:30–8:15 a.m. at specified locations. Registration costs $50 through June 30, $55 through July 31, and $65 from August 1–8, with a 250-participant cap.
