The race.
This 6.6-kilometer run/walk takes place in Williamsville, Illinois on September 9, 2026, as Stop 12 of the Solidarity Sidekick down Route 66 series organized by Spirits Run Illinois Adventure Series. The course follows a segment of Route 66 through the village. Participants join Enric Casacuberta for a 2.1-mile shared segment; the run supports ALS awareness. All finishers receive a custom bib, a Route 66 charm for a series medal, and post-run refreshments. Event shirts are available for optional purchase during registration. The series benefits Enric Casacuberta's solo run across Illinois to honor those living with ALS.
