The race.
This 6.6-kilometer run takes place in Bloomington, Illinois on September 6, 2026, as Stop 9 of the Spirits Run Illinois Adventure Series. The event supports ALS awareness and honors Enric Casacuberta's solo run along the Illinois stretch of Route 66. Participants run a 2.1-mile shared segment alongside Enric and receive a custom bib, a Route 66 charm for a series medal, and access to a post-run community celebration. Event shirts are available for purchase during registration. The course follows Route 66 through Bloomington's historic corridor.
