About the race
The race.
The Somerset Elementary School Back to School Classic takes place October 25, 2026, in Chevy Chase, MD, with options for in-person or virtual participation. Runners can choose from an 8K, 2K, or t-shirt-only entry. Registration costs $40 for adults and $25 for children 18 and under, with a t-shirt-only option at $20. All proceeds benefit the Somerset PTA. A prize will be awarded to the grade with the most registered runners. Registration opens July 1st.
