Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K 2026

The race.

Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K takes place September 26, 2026, in Mason, Ohio at Sonder Brewing. The 3.1-mile run/walk starts at 10:00 a.m., with an awards ceremony at 11:15 a.m. and a kids root beer fun run at 11:30 a.m. All finishers receive a medal and a free beer or root beer ticket; top three male and female finishers earn additional awards, as do participants with the largest team and best Oktoberfest costumes. The kids root beer run features age-divided dashes (10 yards for ages 3 and under, 50 yards for ages 4–10) with swag bags, root beer, and treats. Packet pickup runs Friday, September 25, 3:00–7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 26, 9:00–9:30 a.m. at Sonder Brewing. Event proceeds benefit Greater Project, a nonprofit serving vulnerable children locally and internationally.
