The race.
The Spacious Skies Invitational is a cross country race held August 29, 2026, at the St Boniface cross country course in Erie, PA. Grades 1–4 compete in a 1-mile race, while grades 5–8 run 2 miles. The event serves elementary and middle school runners organized by grade and gender divisions (grades 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, and 7–8). Awards are given to the top 10 individual finishers in each category, plus team awards for the top two boys and girls teams in both the 1–4 and 5–8 grade divisions.
