The race.

The Speedway in Lights 5K takes place on November 15, 2026, in Bristol, Tennessee, starting at 6 p.m. Participants run or walk a 5K course beginning near Entrance No. 2 by the BMS South Building, looping through the historic quarter-mile Bristol Dragway and the high-banked oval before finishing just before Turn 2. The course winds through a holiday lights display featuring 40 new displays for 2026. Online registration opens February 25 and closes November 8, with on-site registration available race day. Tiered pricing applies: $25–$45 for adults and $15–$25 for children ages 12 and under, depending on registration period. Children 3 and under are free. T-shirts and ornaments are included with early registrations but not guaranteed for late registrations or day-of entries. Proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities.
