Spencer County Octoberfest 5K 2026

The race.

The Spencer County Octoberfest 5K takes place on September 29, 2026, starting at 6:30 PM on Main Street in Taylorsville, Kentucky. The event welcomes walkers and runners of all ages and fitness levels. Registration costs $30 if completed by September 12, or $35 through race morning; participants who register by September 22 receive a race t-shirt. A separate Kids Fun Run for ages 9 and under costs $15. Packet pickup occurs Sunday, September 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Public Square (18 E Main Street), with additional pickup on race day starting at 5:00 PM. Awards go to the top two overall male and female finishers and the top male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under through 75 and over. All proceeds benefit Spencer County Special Olympics.
