About the race
The race.
The Spooky Sprint takes place October 25, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan, offering five race distances: a 50-meter kids' dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile untimed run, a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. All distances except the 1-mile run are chip-timed with live results. Finishers receive a custom medal and designer shirt; the kids' dash includes a youth-sized shirt and specially designed medal. A virtual race option is available. Refreshments are provided at the finish line. Youth pricing applies to the 5K and 10K for runners 12 and under. Registration must be completed by midnight two Thursdays before race day to guarantee a shirt size.
