The race.
The Springfield Dam Run on September 12, 2026, in Springfield, VT, offers three distances: a half-mile kids' run (free, ages 12 and under), a one-mile sprint ($20, ages 10 and up), and a 5K ($30, all ages). The 5K takes place on Army Corps of Engineers property at Springfield Dam and includes trail, dirt road, and elevation changes. Participants can register for both the mile and 5K together for $40 using coupon code DAMMANIAC. Food, ice cream vendors, family activities, and music will be available throughout the events.
