Sprout 5K 2026

The race.

The 14th Annual Sprout 5K takes place October 25, 2026, at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm at Broadlands in Ashburn, Virginia. The 5K race begins at 9:00 am, followed by a 1K fun run. All registered participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and food and beverages provided by Clyde's after the race. Medals are awarded to all children 12 and under, plus first-place finishers overall and top finishers in age groups spanning 8 and under through 70 and over. Registration costs $30 for the 5K ($20 for students 21 and under) and $20 for the 1K before October 23; prices increase after that deadline. Packet pickup occurs October 24 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and race morning starting at 7:30 am. Race proceeds benefit Sprout Therapeutic Riding & Education Center, a nonprofit providing equine-assisted therapy and education services.
