Sri Chinmoy 5K & Half-Marathon (July) 2026

The race.

The Sri Chinmoy 5K & Half-Marathon takes place Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 7 a.m. in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. The 5K covers one loop around the park; the half-marathon consists of one 5K loop plus three additional 5.37K loops on a USATF-certified course. Both distances are open to runners 13 and older (half-marathon requires age 16+), with time limits of one hour for the 5K and three hours fifteen minutes for the half-marathon. All finishers receive custom medals and a vented running cap; freshly made fruit smoothies are provided at the finish. Registration through June 14 costs $30.60 for the 5K and $51.20 for the half-marathon, with prices increasing closer to race day; no race-day registration is available. Packet pickup occurs race morning from 6:00–6:45 a.m., or packets can be shipped by July 1 for $7.45.
