Sri Chinmoy Marathon 2026

The race.

The 24th annual Sri Chinmoy Marathon takes place on Monday, August 24, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM at Rockland Lake in Congers, New York. The USATF-certified course consists of a 2.95-mile loop around the lake completed approximately nine times for marathon distance, with all laps scored. Registration fees range from $66.65 through June 30 to $87.25 through August 21. Participants receive a custom race shirt (guaranteed for those registering by July 31), custom finisher medals, and a post-race vegetarian meal served from 11:30 AM. Aid stations are stationed approximately every mile with water, electrolyte drink, and snacks at the main station. Awards are given in age categories (under 50, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+), with an awards ceremony at 12:15 PM. The race has a 7-hour cutoff (2:00 PM) and requires runners to be 18 or older.
