About the race
The race.
St. Bernard's 3rd annual 5K color run takes place August 19, 2026, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, starting and finishing at St. Bernard's Church. The race begins at 10:00 AM with festivities starting at 9:00 AM. Participants encounter four color stations throughout the course. Registration is $30 for ages 7 and up; children 6 and under are free but may register to receive a race kit. Pre-race kit pickup occurs Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Bernard's Church by the playground, including a race t-shirt, color powder packet, sunglasses, bracelet, sticker, and temporary tattoos. The day includes food trucks, music, games, a bouncy house, chalk art station, and photo booth, with post-race blow-off stations available.
