The Star Spangled Spectacular 5K takes place on July 4, 2026, in Lima, Ohio, starting at 9:00 a.m. from Faurot Park on S Cole Street near Lakewood Avenue. The Freedom 5K course covers 5 kilometers and accommodates both runners and walkers. Packet pickup occurs on race day from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Finishers receive medals based on top-three placements within ten age categories ranging from 9 and under through 80 and older. Registration includes a t-shirt if completed by June 15th, with early registration ($20 through June 4th) and standard registration ($25 after June 4th) pricing available.
