About the race
The race.
Start It, Stanly! Hike It! is a free series of guided hikes held at Morrow Mountain State Park in Albemarle, North Carolina, beginning October 17, 2026. Four hikes are scheduled for Saturdays: October 17 and 31, and November 14 and 28, each starting at 8:00 a.m. Participants hike different trails—Sugarloaf Trail, Falls Trail, Hattaway Mountain Trail, and Morrow Mountain Trail—with designated parking areas for each date. Appropriate footwear including closed-toe shoes is required. In case of inclement weather, participants will be notified by email and may contact the organizer for cancellation information.
