Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K 2026

The race.

The Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K takes place August 1, 2026, at the Stearns County Fairgrounds in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. A 1K Kids Fun Run starts at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:30 a.m., with both courses beginning and ending on the fairgrounds near the fair office and general livestock building. The 5K route follows an out-and-back path on the Lake Wobegon Trail. Registration is $15 before July 24 and $20 after; the 1K is free. All participants receive a t-shirt (guaranteed through July 23), race swag bag, passport card, and post-race chocolate milk and snacks. Packet pickup and day-of registration open at 7:00 a.m. Active dairy farmers and their immediate families receive free 5K registration.
