Storybook Half Marathon 2026

The race.

The Storybook Half Marathon takes place on November 21, 2026, in Roosevelt Forest, Stratford, CT. Participants run a 13.1-mile course consisting of eight loops on marked singletrack and doubletrack trails totaling 1.64 miles per loop, featuring roots, rocks, and rolling hills. The race starts at 8:30 AM with bib pickup beginning at 7:00 AM at the pavilion; participants have up to 4 hours to finish. All finishers receive a medallion and non-alcoholic beer, with race shirts and additional gear available for purchase. Aid stations offering hydration and snacks are located at the main pavilion on each loop. Podium awards go to the top 3 male and female finishers. The event supports Books4Everyone, a nonprofit collecting children's books for schools, shelters, food banks, and community organizations in Fairfield County.
