Summer Meltdown Half Marathon - Austin 2026

The race.

The Summer Meltdown Half Marathon takes place on August 15, 2026, at Lake Pflugerville Park in Pflugerville, TX, with races starting at 7 AM. Six race distances are offered: a 20-yard Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile race, a 5K (3.11 miles), a Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles), and a Half Marathon (13.1 miles). The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon are chip-timed with age-group awards; the Kids Dash and 1-mile race are not timed. All participants receive a race shirt and medal. The Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, and 5K feature first-place overall trophies for male and female finishers, plus special recognition pins for masters competitors (age 40+) and age-group medals (gold, silver, bronze) across numerous divisions. Post-race amenities include snacks, refreshments, live music, and a Kona Ice stand. Aid stations are positioned along the course.
