Summer Meltdown Half Marathon - San Antonio 2026

The Summer Meltdown Half Marathon takes place August 16, 2026, at O. P. Schnabel Park in San Antonio, Texas, with races starting at 7 AM. Six race distances are offered: a 20-yard Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile race, a 3.11-mile 5K, a 6.55-mile Quarter Marathon, and a 13.1-mile Half Marathon, plus a 50-mile option. The Kids Dash is untimed and includes a shirt, medal, and recognition pin. The 1-mile race is untimed and provides a shirt and medal. The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon are chip-timed and feature 1st overall trophies for male and female winners, master's category pins for ages 40+, and age-group awards (gold, silver, bronze pins) across multiple divisions. All finishers receive medals and shirts, with aid stations positioned along the course and post-race refreshments including treats from Kona Ice.
