Summer Sizzler- Austin 2026

The race.

The Summer Sizzler takes place August 22, 2026, in Del Valle, Texas, offering distances of 50 meters, 1 mile, 3.1 miles, 6.2 miles, and 15 kilometers, plus virtual race options. All registered participants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and custom finisher medal; the 1-mile and kids' dash (ages 10 and under) are untimed events. Finisher amenities include chip timing with live results, free photos, treats at the finish line, and complimentary Kona Ice. Youth pricing applies to the 5K and 10K distances for runners 12 and under. Registration must be completed by midnight on Thursday two weeks before race day to guarantee a shirt size. Team registration offers $5 refunds per team member once four runners join a team, with an additional $5 refund available when ten team members register.
