The race.

The Summer Sizzler takes place August 29, 2026, in Springdale, Arkansas, offering multiple race distances: 50 meters, 1 mile (untimed), 3.1 miles, 6.2 miles, and 15 kilometers, plus a virtual race option and volunteer-then-run category. All registered participants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal; the 1-mile race includes an unisex medal, while the 50-meter kids' dash (ages 10 and under) provides a youth-sized shirt and age-appropriate medal, with free participation available for children declining merchandise. Finishers enjoy complimentary photos, Kona Ice, and treats at the finish line, with chip timing and live results available for timed distances. Registration closes at midnight on the Thursday two weeks before the race to guarantee shirt fulfillment. Team registration offers $5 refunds per member once four participants join a team, with an additional $5 rebate when the team reaches ten members.
