The race.

The Summer Sizzler takes place August 29, 2026, in Sugar Land, Texas, offering five race distances: a 50-meter kids' dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile untimed run, and timed races at 3.1 miles, 6.2 miles, and 9.32 miles. All distance options include custom bibs and finisher medals; 5K, 10K, and 15K registrants receive designer shirts, while 1-mile and kids' dash participants receive youth-sized shirts. Finishers receive Kona Ice and other treats at the finish line, plus free race photos and chip-timed results with awards. Registration deadline for guaranteed shirt inclusion is midnight Thursday, two weeks before race day. Youth pricing applies to 5K and 10K distances for ages 12 and under. A virtual race option is available, and team registration discounts apply when four or more participants register together.
