Summer Sizzler- San Antonio 2026

The race.

The Summer Sizzler takes place on August 30, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, offering distances of 50 meters, 1 mile, 3.1 miles, 6.2 miles, and 9.3 miles, plus virtual race and volunteer-and-run options. Finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 15K receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and custom medal; 1-mile participants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and medal but are untimed. Children ages 10 and under can participate in an untimed kids' dash with a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and medal; free participation without swag is also available for young runners. Race amenities include chip timing with live results, awards, complimentary photos, and Kona Ice at the finish line. Registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks before race day to guarantee a shirt. Team registration offers a $5 refund once four members register and an additional $5 refund once ten members register.
