Summer Sizzler - Wichita 2026

The race.

The Summer Sizzler takes place in Goddard, Kansas on August 23, 2026, and offers five racing distances: a 50-meter dash, 1-mile untimed run, 3.1-mile race, 6.2-mile race, and 9.32-mile race. Finishers receive custom bibs, designer shirts, and custom medals; the 1-mile and kids' dash (ages 10 and under) are untimed events. Race amenities include chip timing with live results, awards, free photos, and refreshments at the finish line. Registration closes at midnight two Thursdays before race day to guarantee a shirt size. Youth pricing applies to the 3.1-mile and 6.2-mile distances for participants 12 and under at $17. A virtual race option is available for those unable to attend in person.
