Sunset Bay Trail Runs 2026

The race.

Sunset Bay Trail Runs takes place on August 29, 2026, in Coos Bay, Oregon, offering five race distances: 1 mile, 4 miles, 15K, half marathon, and full marathon options. The course follows trails through Sunset State Park with one aid station serving the 15K and half marathon distances; water and Gatorade are available at the start/finish line along with post-race snacks. Packet pickup occurs race morning only at the gazebo at the south end of Sunset Bay, with runners advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their start time. Half-marathon runners must reach the aid station at approximately 6.5 miles by 10:45 a.m. or will be moved to the 15K race. Top three finishers overall and in each age group receive ribbons, and Farr's Hardware donates a $50 gift card to a randomly selected finisher from each distance. Proceeds benefit the Marshfield High School Cross Country Team.
