Superhero 5K, Kids Fun Run & Walk 2026

The race.

The Superhero 5K, Kids Fun Run & Walk takes place September 27, 2026, at Owensboro Health Healthpark in Owensboro, Kentucky, benefiting Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. The 5K race starts at 8 a.m., with early registration $30 through August 31 and $40 after. The Kids Fun Run (half-mile) begins at 9:15 a.m. for $10 per child, with medals and t-shirts for the first 200 registered. The Superhero Walk starts at 10 a.m.; cancer survivors participate free, and other walkers pay $30 per team member. Packet pickup is available September 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with in-person registration during the event. All registered participants receive access to music, food, kids' activities, and prize drawings.
