Surviving the Color Newton 2026

The race.

Surviving the Color 5K takes place September 12, 2026, in Effingham, IL, benefiting Team of Mercy Newton IL, which provides support to those affected by suicide in the surrounding counties. The race starts at 9:00 a.m., with packet pickup and race day registration from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. All participants receive a race t-shirt, a custom printed bib, and pass through eight color stations. Post-race refreshments are provided, and a closing ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. Children 8 and under can participate free with a registered parent or guardian but do not receive race materials. T-shirt registration deadline is September 5; custom bib name printing deadline is August 31.
